NCT ID NCT07417696

First seen Feb 20, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding palmitoleic acid (a natural fatty acid) to the standard drug infliximab helps heal the gut lining in people with Crohn's disease. About 400 adults with active Crohn's will receive either the combination or infliximab alone. The main goal is to see if the combination leads to complete healing of intestinal ulcers.
