First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving the drug palbociclib before surgery is feasible for people with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), a very early form of breast cancer. It planned to enroll 24 participants, with half receiving the drug and half not. The main goal was to see if enough people could complete the treatment, and it also checked for changes in breast tissue. The study was terminated early after enrolling only 17 people.
