NCT ID NCT07315646

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests if using ultrasound during IUS (a type of IUD) insertion reduces pain compared to the standard method. About 50 women will be randomly assigned to one of two techniques. The goal is to see if the ultrasound-guided approach, which avoids certain instruments, leads to less discomfort during and after placement.
