First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at two ways to manage pain after knee replacement surgery: a shot around the knee joint (periarticular injection) and a nerve block in the thigh (adductor canal block). The goal was to see which method helps patients recover better and feel less pain. Sixty adults having knee replacement took part, and their recovery was measured using a special questionnaire.
