First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study compares two simple methods—tapping the skin (Helfer Skin Tap Technique) and applying a cold pack—to see which better reduces pain from tetanus vaccinations in pregnant women. Researchers will measure pain levels and vital signs in 90 participants. The goal is to find a safe, easy way to make shots more comfortable during pregnancy.
