NCT ID NCT06826846

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tested two methods of pain relief for people having shoulder surgery. One group received a single injection of numbing medicine near a nerve in the back, while the other group got a continuous drip of the same medicine through a small tube. The goal was to see which method provides better pain control, reduces the need for strong painkillers, and improves patient satisfaction. The study involved 90 adults aged 18 to 80.
