First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looks at two different pain-blocking techniques for people who are having repeat lower back surgery. One group gets a caudal epidural block, and the other gets a combined lumbar sympathetic block with a caudal epidural. The goal is to see which method provides better pain relief after surgery. The study includes 64 adults aged 40-70 who have had chronic low back pain for more than 3 months.
