First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study compares two pain relief methods—thoracic epidural analgesia and a four-quadrant abdominal wall block—in 101 people having open liver surgery for cancer. The goal is to see which approach leads to a shorter hospital stay and better pain control after surgery. Participants are randomly assigned to one of the two methods, and their recovery is tracked.
