First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tested two different ultrasound-guided nerve blocks to see which one provides better pain relief after inguinal hernia repair. Forty-three men undergoing hernia surgery received one of the two blocks, and their pain was measured using a simple 0-to-10 scale. The goal was to find a more effective way to control post-surgery pain and reduce complications.
