First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study compares two types of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks (erector spinae plane block and rectus sheath block) for controlling pain after laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. Ten adults aged 18–70 are enrolled to see which block provides better pain relief and reduces the need for opioid painkillers. The goal is to improve recovery and minimize side effects from strong pain medications.
