Summary

This study aimed to find out which of two common drugs works better for pain relief after keyhole gallbladder removal surgery. Researchers compared intravenous lidocaine against magnesium sulphate in 168 patients. They measured patients' pain levels over 24 hours after surgery to see which medication provided more effective and longer-lasting relief.
