Summary
This study compared two different nerve-block techniques to manage pain after lumbar spine surgery. Researchers tested an ultrasound-guided caudal block against a quadratus lumborum plane block in 111 adult patients. The goal was to see which method provided better and longer-lasting pain relief while reducing the need for opioid painkillers after surgery.
