First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a combination of two pain medicines (hydromorphone and flurbiprofen) given through a vein could better control pain in 129 people with intermediate-to-advanced liver cancer undergoing a procedure called TACE. The goal was to reduce pain during and after the procedure and help patients recover faster. The study found that this approach may improve pain management and reduce side effects compared to standard care.
