First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether five online sessions of pain education and personal goal setting can reduce pain and disability more than standard written advice for adults with chronic low back pain. 392 participants who are not very active will be randomly assigned to one of the two approaches and followed for a year. The goal is to find a better way to help people manage long-term back pain without relying on medication.
