Summary

This study tested whether adding pain science education to standard shoulder exercises helps people with long-term rotator cuff pain. Forty-two adults with shoulder pain for at least 3 months were randomly assigned to receive either exercises plus education or exercises alone for 6 weeks. The goal was to see if the education helped reduce pain intensity, improve shoulder function, and change unhelpful beliefs about pain.
