NCT ID NCT05140499

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study aimed to compare two standard pain treatments—a long-acting numbing injection and a continuous nerve block—for people after a below-knee amputation. The goal was to see which method better controls pain and reduces the need for strong painkillers. Only 11 people took part before the study was stopped early.
