Summary

This study tested whether an inhaled powder called treprostinil palmitil could help people with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a serious condition affecting blood vessels in the lungs. Over 100 adults with PAH who were already on stable medication were randomly assigned to receive either the new inhaled powder or a placebo for 16 weeks. Researchers measured if the treatment reduced resistance in the lung's blood vessels and improved how far participants could walk in 6 minutes.
