First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study aims to create a tool that uses DNA patterns (methylation) to identify the original location of cancers that have spread but have no known primary site. Researchers will analyze tumor samples from 120 participants to train a machine learning model. The goal is to guide more precise treatment by pinpointing the cancer's origin.
