First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether remote monitoring—checking your pacemaker from home—is as safe and cost-effective as regular in-clinic visits. About 848 adults with Medtronic or Abbott pacemakers will be followed for major heart events and quality of life. The goal is to see if a patient-friendly online platform can reduce hospital visits without compromising care.
