Pacemaker trial aims to help hearts that Can't speed up

NCT ID NCT06992089

Summary

This study is testing whether a pacemaker can help people with a specific type of heart failure where the heart pumps normally but can't speed up properly during activity. 30 participants will have a pacemaker implanted and then be randomly assigned to have it turned on or off for 3-month periods to compare the effects. The main goal is to see if the pacemaker improves how much oxygen the body can use during exercise and the patient's quality of life.
