Engineered immune cells take on advanced cancers in early trial

NCT ID NCT07593820

First seen May 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026

Summary

This early-phase trial tests a new treatment called p95HER2.CAR-TECH2Me for people with advanced HER2-positive cancers (breast, stomach, or endometrial cancer that has spread). The treatment uses a patient's own immune cells, which are modified in a lab to better recognize and attack cancer cells. About 15 participants will receive a single infusion of these cells after a short course of chemotherapy to prepare the body. The main goals are to check the treatment's safety and find the best dose, while also looking for signs that it shrinks tumors.
