Summary

This study tested whether ozone therapy can help heal painful mouth sores caused by radiation and chemotherapy in head and neck cancer patients. Fifty-eight adults used professional ozone treatments at the dentist plus ozone toothpaste, mouthrinse, and gel at home. The main goal was to see how quickly sores healed and how much pain dropped. Results may offer a simple way to improve quality of life during cancer therapy.
