New oxygen gel may soothe canker sores faster

Summary
This study tests whether an oxygenated gel can reduce pain and speed up healing of common mouth ulcers (canker sores) compared to a standard steroid paste. Thirty adults with a single small ulcer will apply either the oxygenated gel twice daily or the standard paste four times daily for a week. Researchers will check pain levels and ulcer size over 10 days.
