Summary
This study tests whether adding pressurized oxygen chamber treatments to standard care helps patients survive severe 'flesh-eating' bacterial infections. Researchers will enroll 1,480 adults with surgically confirmed infections across multiple hospitals. The main goal is to see if this oxygen therapy reduces deaths within 30 days compared to standard treatment alone.
