First seen Jun 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a special oxygen support cage during cataract surgery can reduce patient anxiety, improve breathing comfort, and shorten surgery time. About 70 adults having their first cataract surgery will take part. The cage is designed to prevent surgical drapes from covering the face and to deliver oxygen more gently, avoiding dry mouth and coughing.
