New oxygen study offers hope for kids with severe sleep apnea

Summary
This study is testing two different ways to deliver oxygen during sleep to children with moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea, particularly those with Down syndrome. Researchers will compare continuous oxygen flow with pulse flow (which delivers oxygen only during breathing in) during overnight sleep studies. The goal is to see which method better controls breathing problems during sleep and could lead to better treatment options for these children.
