Overripe banana powder shows promise for diabetes control
NCT ID NCT07471607
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a daily supplement of overripe banana powder can improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes. Sixty participants took either the banana supplement or a standard formula for 12 weeks. Researchers measured changes in fasting blood sugar, HbA1c, and insulin levels to see if this simple food ingredient could help manage the condition.
