Scientists probe immune secrets of ovarian cancer

Summary
This study looks at how the immune system behaves in people with newly diagnosed ovarian cancer. Researchers will collect blood, tumor tissue, and other samples from about 74 participants to see which immune cells are present and how they relate to how long the cancer stays under control. No new treatments are given—this is purely an observation study to learn more about the disease.
