Summary
This study looked at whether people with ankle fractures that need surgery can recover just as well at home as in the hospital. 86 adults were randomly assigned to go home the same day or stay in the hospital after surgery. Researchers measured pain, symptoms, daily activities, and satisfaction to see which group did better.
