First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether teaching science outdoors helps primary school children learn better and feel better. About 1,000 students in grades 5 and 6 will either have science class outdoors or indoors for 5 weeks. Researchers will measure their observation skills, connection to nature, stress, and eco-anxiety to see if outdoor learning makes a difference.
