First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at two surgical methods to fix the spine in people with osteoporosis (weak bones). It compares screws that are reinforced with bone cement to regular hollow screws. The goal is to see which method provides better stability, pain relief, and recovery, with fewer complications. About 70 adults with painful spine fractures or instability will take part.
