Can Hands-On therapy ease the double burden of IBS and fibromyalgia?

NCT ID NCT07176078

Summary

This study is testing whether adding osteopathic care (a hands-on manual therapy) to a flexible FODMAP diet helps people with both irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and fibromyalgia feel better. Researchers will compare real osteopathic care to a sham (fake) version, with both groups also following the diet. The goal is to see if the combination reduces gut symptoms, pain, and fatigue more effectively and improves quality of life.
