First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study compares two common treatments for mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome: osteopathic manipulation (a hands-on therapy) and wearing a wrist brace at night. Ten adults will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups and followed for 10 weeks. Researchers will use MRI scans and patient questionnaires to see which treatment better reduces nerve compression and improves symptoms.
