First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether a synthetic bone plug (OsteoGen®) works as well as a standard bone graft for preserving the jawbone after a premolar is pulled. About 70 adults who need a tooth removed and plan to get a dental implant later will receive one of the two treatments. The main goal is to measure new bone growth at 120 days using a special X-ray.
