New combo therapy offers hope for Drug-Resistant lung cancer

Summary
This study tests whether adding savolitinib to osimertinib can help people with a specific type of advanced lung cancer (EGFR-mutated NSCLC) that has stopped responding to osimertinib alone. The trial focuses on patients whose tumors have a low level of MET amplification. About 60 adults will receive the combination therapy to see if it shrinks tumors and delays cancer growth.
