Summary
This study tested whether adding aspirin to the standard drug osimertinib helps people with advanced EGFR-positive lung cancer live longer without their cancer growing. 216 participants received the combination as their first treatment. The goal was to see if aspirin could help prevent or delay drug resistance. Results may offer a simple, low-cost way to improve existing therapy.
