First seen Dec 29, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study will enroll 7,000 people with obstructive sleep apnea to learn how different sleep patterns relate to long-term health. Researchers will use sleep lab results and national health records to find links between sleep traits and health outcomes. Some participants will also take lung, blood, and thinking tests. The goal is to better understand sleep apnea, not to test a new treatment.
