NCT ID NCT05678088
First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether doing simple throat and mouth exercises can help people with obstructive sleep apnea who cannot tolerate CPAP machines. Researchers will enroll 45 adults and randomly assign them to supervised exercises, unsupervised exercises, or a sham (fake) routine for 10 weeks. The main goal is to see if a larger trial is possible, but they will also measure changes in sleep apnea severity, daytime sleepiness, and quality of life.
