Summary
This study follows 650 children in Guadeloupe, born to mothers in the TIMOUN cohort, to see if exposure to organochlorine pollutants like chlordecone affects their cognitive development and puberty. Researchers will test thinking skills and track when physical changes of puberty begin. The goal is to understand health risks from environmental pollution, not to provide treatment.
