New hope for kids with rare eye tumors: drug combo shows promise

Summary

This study tests a systematic approach to treat orbital lymphatic malformation in children and teens. Participants receive either injection sclerotherapy, the drug sirolimus, or both, depending on their condition. The goal is to see if sirolimus is safe and effective at shrinking the malformation and easing symptoms. About 30 people aged 1-18 will take part.
