Summary
This study tested whether placing orange blossom essential oil inside a stoma bag can reduce odor, lessen feelings of social isolation, and improve how people adjust to life with a stoma. Sixty adults with a stoma and no complications took part. Researchers measured changes using standard scales for stoma adaptation and social isolation.
