Summary
This study tested a new treatment approach for men with advanced prostate cancer that has spread and stopped responding to standard hormone therapy. Fifteen participants took high-dose oral testosterone pills for one week, then took a week off, repeating this cycle. If their cancer progressed, they switched to a different drug called enzalutamide. The goal was to see if this cycling oral testosterone treatment could control cancer growth and improve quality of life.
