New oral paclitaxel combo shows promise for tough breast cancer

NCT ID NCT07602907

First seen Jun 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026

Summary

This study tests an oral form of the chemotherapy drug paclitaxel, taken daily or several times a week, for adults with advanced HER2-negative breast cancer. The trial has two parts: first, finding the safest dose of the oral paclitaxel alone, and then testing it combined with the immunotherapy toripalimab. About 44 participants will be monitored for side effects, tumor response, and how long they live without the cancer growing.
