Gum disease risk in oral lichen planus patients under scrutiny

Summary
This study will compare 88 people with oral lichen planus (a chronic mouth condition) to 88 healthy people to see if they have more gum disease. Participants will get standard dental exams. The goal is to understand if these two conditions are linked, which could help dentists provide better care for those with oral lichen planus.
