Summary
This study examined whether taking combined oral contraceptives (birth control pills) influences the development or worsening of chronic venous diseases, such as varicose veins. Researchers followed 116 women who were prescribed different types of birth control pills. The goal was to see if these pills contribute to vein problems or blood clots over time.
