Could a daily sip of carbon monoxide help control Parkinson's?
NCT ID NCT07005180
Summary
This study is testing a new liquid medication called HBI-002, which contains a very low dose of carbon monoxide. It aims to see if taking it daily for two weeks is safe and how the body processes it in people with Parkinson's disease. The trial will involve 36 participants who will be randomly assigned to receive either the actual medication or a placebo, and neither they nor the doctors will know which one they are getting.
