First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to plan radioactive seed implants for people with cancer that has spread to the spine. The new method uses two types of computer simulations to better target the tumor while also checking bone strength and needle placement. The goal is to improve pain relief and reduce complications like fractures. About 150 adults with painful or growing spinal tumors will take part.
