First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at 528 adults with unruptured brain aneurysms who had a stent placed during a coiling procedure. It compared taking two blood thinners for 6 months versus 18 months after the procedure. The goal was to see if the shorter course could prevent blood clots just as well while reducing bleeding risks.
