First seen Mar 01, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study aims to create a database of how light interacts with healthy, precancerous, and cancerous skin. Researchers will collect optical data from 140 people with skin carcinomas and actinic keratoses. The goal is to develop a non-invasive method to automatically diagnose skin cancer using light, potentially reducing the need for surgical biopsies.
