New anesthesia combo may cut opioid use after Weight-Loss surgery

Summary
This study tests whether a drug combination called ketodex can reduce the need for strong painkillers after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy in obese patients. Eight adults with a BMI over 35 will be randomly assigned to receive either ketodex or standard opioid anesthesia. The main goal is to measure total pain medication use in the first 24 hours after surgery.
